Cadets took part in an off-site training session on the discipline "Trasoology and forensic examination".
Fieldwork for second-year cadets of the faculty of investigators was held within the framework of the activity of the branch of the department of forensic examinations on the basis of the management of the State Committee of Forensic Expertise in Minsk. Future officers examined the issues of forensic investigation of castles. The staff of GCEE spoke about the opportunities that the units have for conducting expert studies in this area.
The cadets got acquainted with new constructive types of locking devices, peculiarities of inspecting the places of incidents connected with breaking and criminal unlocking. Vladimir Smolenchuk, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Forensic Examinations of the Investigative and Expert Faculty, paid special attention to the detection and fixing of traces of foreign influence on locks, seizure and packing of locking devices. For an illustrative example, the cadets were shown the devices with which the attackers committed apartment thefts.
