Fieldwork for cadets of the Faculty of Investigators took place within the framework of the branch of the department of forensic examinations.
As part of the activities of the branch of the Department of Forensic Examinations, on the basis of the Office of the State Committee for Forensic Expertise for Minsk, on March 16, a field practical training was held on the discipline "Dactyloscopy and judicial dactyloscopic examination". Two-course cadets of the Faculty of Investigators studied in more depth the topic "Hand traces: the mechanism of education, rules and methods for detecting, identifying, fixing and seizing objects."
Future officers got acquainted with the capabilities of the forensic laboratory to detect and identify traces of hands by physical, physical, chemical and chemical methods. Under the guidance of the associate professor Vadim Chvankin and the staff of the cadets, the cadets learned to detect traces of hands on different surfaces. In their work, the guys used different types of fingerprinted powders of domestic and foreign production, as well as other laboratory preparations.
