Junior Commanders - the Mainstay of the Faculty: Studing and Methodological Training

In the Academy studing and methodological gathering of junior commanders was held - an event that has already become traditional at the cadet faculties.

Thematic lectures for participants of the event were held on December 13 at the Faculty of Investigators. A day earlier, a military inspection and a tour of the building were held at the Criminal Executive Faculty. The Faculty of Militia hosted participants in training courses on personnel management on December 14.

Thus, the training program included inspection of drill preparation, trainings, lectures on the topics: "Rules for the morning inspection and evening verification", "Rules for carrying out morning physical exercises", "Action plan for detecting an allegedly explosive device", "Passage regime in the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs"

Colonel Valentin Tsurko, deputy head of the  Academy of the Ministry of the Interior for Combat Troops, supervised the training and methodological gathering. The training events were held on December 12-14 and became a source of useful experience for junior commanders and a test for strength.

Immediately after the cadets returned to the Faculty of Investigators, I managed to ask one of them, freshman Vladislav Kulchitskiy.

- Vlad, what are your impressions of participating in the training and methodological collection?

- There are many impressions, and most importantly, it was possible to get acquainted with the commanders of groups and faculty of militia and correction faculty. The experience of colleagues can be applied in their activities. Of course, the knowledge and skills obtained at the trainings and lectures will be useful.

- What was most memorable?

- The program of the gathering was intense, but a special track left the drill review. This event reminded each of us that the commander must have a neat appearance and be an example for his subordinates.

- What was it like for you, a freshman, to be in the same ranks with sergeants?

- I felt a level of responsibility, which is assigned to me as a junior commander. Trust is given to me, and I must justify it.

Deputy Chief of the SEF for work with personnel Colonel of the Militia Vitaly Kutsko noted the importance of such training and methodological fees:

- It is important that the junior commanders have to work with subordinates not only during the training in the academy, but also after graduation. Many of the current sergeants will be leaders of various levels. It is on their skills and skills will depend on the quality of the tasks performed to protect the rights, freedoms, legitimate interests of citizens, the interests of society and the state from criminal and other unlawful attacks.
